Allyssa is valued and recognized by The Law Office of Milena Christopher staff and her clients as a down-to-earth and relatable attorney. She’s very passionate about helping families navigate the complex changes in their lives.

Allyssa’s primary focus is in family law matters – such as divorce, child custody and support, and adoption. She professionally handles both straightforward and contested divorces or child custody disputes. Her pragmatic and child-focused approach includes counseling clients about their legal options and projected outcomes, which helps soothe individuals going through tough times, and to help clients make educated and informed decisions about their situation.

She also recognizes that as families change, whether through marriage, adoption, divorce, or other life circumstances, they may need to establish or update an estate plan to manage assets and designate people who can make legal, financial, and medical decisions on one’s behalf. Allyssa particularly loves working with families to create comprehensive estate plans to achieve each person’s goals – whether those are to avoid probate, make it easier for assets to pass to a loved one, or to financially take care of others.

Allyssa joined The Law Office of Milena Christopher as a Law Clerk after finishing law school. As a Central Texas native, having grown up in both Austin and Dripping Springs, she felt the pull to go to law school after working for both the State of Texas and the Texas Association of Counties, where she was surrounded by folks who whole heartedly supported her decision to return to graduate school. After beginning law school, Allyssa spent her time working full-time during the day, attending law school at night, being with her children as much as possible, and studying law into the wee hours of the night. After a lot of hard work, she was licensed and admitted to the State Bar of Texas in May 2022.

Now, in addition to serving as the Associate Attorney, in her spare time, Allyssa makes her home in Dripping Springs as a single mom of two wonderful children, two cantankerous cats, a goofy dog, and two fish that are amazingly still alive.
