Before moving to Texas, attorney Milena Christopher founded her first law firm, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. The firm eventually grew to a staff of 26, including several attorneys, and was the largest law firm owned and run by a woman in Ft. Lauderdale. Among her many clients, attorney Milena Christopher handled all child support cases and prosecuted child abuse cases for the government in Broward County, Florida.
While developing her law practice, attorney Milena Christopher became an early proponent of mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Today, she is known as a champion of collaborative law, the newest form of ADR.
